Today’s Grommet comes with a friendly warning: Once you experience this DIY carbonation system, you might find yourself trying to carbonate every beverage in your home. Juice, tea, wine, cocktails, mocktails... you name it, this little gadget can add bubbles to it.

The Twist ‘n Sparkle Direct Carbonation System comes to us from iSi North America (the same company that makes this handy whip creamer). You simply pour your beverage of choice into the reusable bottle, insert a carbon dioxide charger into the handle, then twist and watch the bubbles arrive. The Twist ‘n Sparkle adds carbonation directly into the beverage, rather than diluting it with seltzer or soda water.

You can jazz up your iced tea, treat the kids to a bubbly juice concoction, or lighten things up at a summertime soiree with white wine spritzers. The possibilities are endless -- and infinitely more interesting than store-bought soda. Half the fun is experimenting with effervescence.
