Do what you love. Follow your passion. We’ve all heard this advice, but it takes courage to follow it. Fortunately for all of us chocolate lovers, Elaine Hsieh has no shortage of courage.

Elaine left a successful medical career to become a chocolatier. She trained at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in Massachusetts and the Ecole Chocolat in Vancouver, British Columbia. Then she teamed with Catharine Sweeney, and the two friends launched their own artisanal chocolate and confection company in Somerville, Mass.

Freshness rules at EHChocolatier, where Elaine and Catharine make all the confections from scratch, in small batches, using natural ingredients (no artificial flavors or preservatives). They follow classic techniques and craft each chocolate by hand. From their choice of ingredients and cooking methods to the painstaking decorating and elegant packaging of each piece, no detail is overlooked. The result is balanced flavors, compelling textures and beautiful presentations. You can taste the passion -- and it’s delicious!

• Can only be shipped to the Continental United States (48 States).
• Orders placed before 11:59 EST on a Sunday, will ship out the following Tuesday or Wednesday.
• Orders placed after 11:59 EST on a Sunday, will be shipped out the week after that.

• Made with the freshest natural ingredients, without preservatives.
• Best to consume the chocolates within 2 weeks.
• Store in a cool and dry location, avoiding direct sunlight, ideally not in the refrigerator or the freezer.
• The flavor and texture is best appreciated at a reasonable room temperature (70-74 degrees Fahrenheit)

  • Each month for 3 months, Club Members will receive a 12 piece box of handcrafted artisan chocolates, as well as a bag of confections.
  • Our 2011-12 Chocolate Club season begins in February 2012 and will continue through April 2012.
  • Chocolates are usually shipped during the third week of each month.
  • In order to begin the membership in December, please order by December 8, 2011, 11:59 EST.

  • A selection of freshly made chocolates.
  • Ingredients include fresh herbs, Penzey spices, Rishi Teas, and fruit purees from France are masterfully paired to compliment single plantation and varietal chocolates sourced from the master chocolate makers.

• Pecan Clusters:
  
  • Fresh pecans roasted in maple syrup and a touch of sea salt surrounded with soft Knob Creek Bourbon caramel and topped with E. Guittard’s 65% dark chocolate and a sprinkle of fleur de sel.
  • Each box is approximately 6.5 oz and contains on average 10-12 pieces.
