Citizens' Gallery
As part of our commitment to Citizen Commerce, we're rethinking the way people launch, discover, share, influence and buy products, online. So, whenever someone tells us about their favorite product (disclaimer: as long as it's not spam or outright advertising), we'll post that idea here in our Citizens' Gallery, a place on Daily Grommet where people can learn about and interact with the product submissions we receive every day.
In each entry, you'll see why people love a particular product, how they use it, and sometimes even get to hear from the founder in his or her own words. You'll even be able to vote for and comment on your personal favorites. Your opinions help to build the story around the product and potentially speed its way to becoming a Grommet.

Why is this a Grommet?
Torie & Howard organic hard candies come in sophisticated flavors and are only 12 calories. The unique jewel-shaped candies are currently available in: – Italian Tarocco Blood Orange & Wildflower Honey – Tart California Pomegranate & Sweet Freestone Nectarine – D’anjou Pear & Ceylon Cinnamon – Pink Grapefruit & Tupelo Honey. There is really no other product on the market like it. Most candies are made with harmful dyes and artificial flavorings. In my class we have seen Daily Grommets for social advocate companies. Maji Bottles does not have a unique product but they have a unique cause and are just starting up. Zim's The Elves Themselves are Elves that encompass the magic and spirit of the holidays and everyday. There are Christmas Elves, Halloween Elves and Cellar Elves. The Cellar Elves are most fond of wine cellars and seem to take up residence in well-stocked areas. They are perfect for wineries, gift shops and residential wine cellars.

Why is this a Grommet?
I created the Cat Ball to appeal to feline instincts and have designed it to look great in the modern home. Most cats are immediately compelled to enter the Cat Ball, and like to use it as a fort, a lookout place, a play station or a napping spot. Many cats like to poke their feet out of the small hole and will attack toys, humans and other cats from this opening. We have had consistently positive feedback from our customers, who have often told us that their cat wants to stay in it all of the time, It has been common for customers to buy a second and even sometimes a third Cat Ball, as the cats are sometimes unwilling to share! The Cat Ball is my original design, and it is hand made in the USA. It is dimensional, fully lined, compressible, and maintains the spheroid share without any hidden wires or armature. The Cat Ball can be washed in some washing machines, following our instructions.

Why is this a Grommet?
Slooooks! is a one-of-kind game for kids, ages three and up. It's a board game that folds up like a binder so you can take it anywhere. You spin the spinners, and they send you hunting for for different objects. The game changes depending upon where you play, so it's never the same. Kids love the colorful board and parents love that there aren't a lot of loose pieces to drop while you're on the go. The game has won three toy awards and is on it's way to being a classic.
