Most camera straps are boring, utilitarian devices that do the job they were designed to do but they’re not expressive or inspirational. Longtime friends Lisa Grimm and Erika Koorndyk saw an opportunity to change that.

Lisa has a background in fashion, and Erika is never without a camera. Together they’ve designed a range of beautiful and comfortable straps to replace the basic black straps that are bundled with most cameras. Made in the U.S., the long straps are geared for SLR/DSLR cameras, and the wristlets are made for compact, point-and-shoot cameras.

Capturing Couture straps cover all the functional details: nylon webbing for durability, a comfortable velvet neck pad, adjustable length, and a quick release system (wristlet). And the styles? Let’s just say it’s hard to choose only one. From the beachy vibe of Hibiscus Ocean and the plush jacquard Rose Baroque to the feminine floral Red Organza and masculine plaid Joey Tan… the styles are chic, vibrant and timeless. They make it very easy to smile for the camera.
