Jim Allsop and Jamey Allsop founded Allsop Home & Garden. The first product the father-daughter duo designed is the WheelEasy, which lays flat on the ground so you can rake, shovel and cajole the leaves, dirt or rocks onto it. There’s no awkward lifting required, and the cart’s ergonomic design makes it easy to push.

When the garden work is done and the sun is down, it’s time to enjoy the Allsop’s stunning solar-powered lanterns. The accordion-style lanterns and string lights are made from nylon so the vibrant colors will stay bright and won’t fade from sun exposure. Allsop also makes hand-blown glass string lights, which add an artisan’s flair to an outdoor living space or beneath an umbrella.

Simply place the lanterns (or the solar collector that comes with the string lights) in direct sunlight during the day, and the LED lights will automatically illuminate. Go ahead and let the sun go down -- then enjoy the beautiful after-dark ambiance.
