Pretty in Pendants

Afraid you aren’t crafty enough to make your own jewelry? Fear not! Annie Howes Make Your Own Pendant Kit is the perfect way to use your creativity to design your own one-of-a-kind glass pendant without having to track down all of the supplies.

Annie Howes is a graphic designer based in Kentucky. After making these conversation-starting pendants for a while on her own, she finally posted a how-to on her blog. But it dawned on her that people didn’t just want the tutorial, they wanted something with all the non-toxic materials and instructions included. And so her kits were born. They come with everything you need to make six pendants, along with the step-by-step instructions, and a small metal container to keep all of the supplies organized. The Italian Florentine or Japanese Chiyogami papers that come with the kit make a beautiful, eye-catching pendant you’ll be proud to show off.

Sara tried this out, and a few pendants in, began to feel like she had a real talent in jewelry making. These crafty kits are an ideal activity for a preteen or teen girls—and it’s just as much fun for adults, so grab five friends for a jewelry making party and plan a girls’ night in!
