A Jon Wye belt does more than just hold up your pants. Each one tells a story. Jon’s designs are laid out horizontally, and the graphics are transferred onto the belts in a process that’s similar to how a tattoo artist might tattoo skin. It took him four years to perfect this secret technique, which ensures the designs won’t wear off.

The illustrations created by Jon and his collaborating artists are phenomenal.For example, the Zombies in Space design shows wild-eyed creatures infiltrating unsuspecting galaxies for a comic-book effect, and the graphic Paisley belt renders the traditional paisley form in a more casual, graffiti-like way.

Jon uses the same ink-injection techniques for his leather wrist cuffs, which combine colorful graphics with textured details such as braids and woven segments. Each unisex piece is finished with a special coating that protects the design from scratches.

Jon got his start making belt buckles while on a first date. His date wound up moving to Barcelona, but he kept up the craft, designing and making each piece in his Washington, D.C. workshop. We can’t wait to see what story he tells next.

  • Every belt comes with a roller buckle that is permanently attached to the belt with Jon Wye's signature explosion stamped rivets.

Jon Wye belts are made to order. To ensure proper sizing, please follow these 3 easy steps:

• Grab your favorite fitting belt
• Using a tape measure, measure the full length (in inches) of the belt from the tip of the buckle to the other end of the leather (tip to tip)
• That is your belt length and the perfect size for you

Jon Wye Belts and Cuffs are custom made, so please allow 6-8 days to produce and ship. And if you get your belt and it is still not right just send it back within 15 days and we'll be happy to make a sizing correction or send you out a new one in the proper size.
