You’ve got the makings of a great lunch — yogurt, banana, pastrami on rye — but can your lunch sack handle it? These can. Built’s classic lunch silhouette is the Gourmet Getaway, a generously sized tote with two 
handles in 2 sizes. Both have a hefty zipper to secure everything inside, and they’re a breeze to clean so you don’t have to worry about spills. “It goes right in the washing machine and looks as good as new,” says Eileen Daly, who wrote to tell us about her daughter’s Built lunch bag — which still looks brand new after more than a year of everyday use.
The designers behind Built are John Roscoe Swartz and Aaron Lown. These two friends met in graduate school at the Cranbrook Academy of Art and together created the iconic neoprene wine carrier that launched their company (we featured it last year).
Aaron and John have done incredible things with neoprene, and these lunch bags are no exception. The designs are bright, beautiful and happy. Their cheery style will light up the lunchroom.
