A Fresh Spin on a Reclaimed Wine Barrel

There’s nothing faux about this gorgeous lazy server. It’s made from reclaimed wine barrels, so even the grape stains are authentic. The artist who makes these one-of-a-kind pieces is Chris Deffenbaugh from Wooster, Ohio. He refurbishes each oak barrel top by hand, preserving the original wine maker’s markings and all the colorful, textured evidence of the barrelhead’s previous life.

The wood top spins on a ball-bearing base, so everyone around your table can reach their favorite appetizers. It’s beautiful, functional and a great conversation piece when you’re getting together with family and friends. When you’re not using it as a serving tray, it’s a work of art for your tabletop — and one less vintage treasure lost in a landfill. Time to roll out the barrel!
