We’ve all heard it a thousand times — it’s not safe to be up on our ladders, digging leaves and other not-so-pleasant debris out of our gutters. One slip can cause serious injury. The Looj gutter cleaner comes from iRobot, a Massachusetts company Co-founded by MIT roboticist Colin Angle. iRobot makes robots for the military and police ( you might have seen iRobot’s pioneering Roomba floor-vacuuming robot). Their latest invention for the home is a mighty little robot that pulverizes leaves and blasts dirt and sludge. It can tackle a 60-foot section of gutter in ten minutes. Ten minutes!
