Talk about this Grommet
Is Bob your Uncle?
My name is Martin Yeeles and along with my wife, Michele, own and operate Bob's Your Uncle. We moved to the States in 1993 ("just for a year or two") and have been here in Boston ever since. We began Bob's Your Uncle in 2001 with greeting cards and over the following years have added other product types, primarily in stationery but also dabbling in decorative plates and trays. I am the designer of the majority of our products. If you're wondering where the company name comes from here is its history: “Bob’s your uncle” is a British expression used to indicate that a given task is very simple. Possibly inspired by Victorian Prime Minister, Robert Cecil, who appointed his nephew to a ministerial post, therefore to have Bob as your uncle was a guarantee of success. People back in the UK say it all the time!
All of our paper products are printed in the USA using soy based inks on paper derived from responsibly managed forests.

These are great...nice design, crisp and funky. Makes me want to get out on the road and go for a cruise. Do you also produce these in black and white?

@Matt - we are featuring their full line of cardstock paper placemats. They would look stunning in black and white as well.
It makes you want to cruise, it makes me want to grab my camera and see if I can look at ordinary objects that I pass everyday and capture so much personality! It would also be fun to do a theme do-over in my kitchen to diner style and use these framed. Good design can inspire on so many levels!
