No spare hand to hold a flashlight? The Gorillatorch shines a light wherever you need it, hands free.
Talk about this Grommet
couldn't hear the audio.
I have seen these to hold cameras also. Comes in different sizes. Great product.

Yvonne, thank you for letting us know about your problem with the audio. Aside from the audio control on your system, there is an audio control on the player itself. Click on the icon of the speaker and it should let you adjust the volume. If this doesn't work or if anyone else is having audio problems, please let us know!
It's great that they have found different uses for their patented ball and socket construction.
Here is a link to our review of their Gorillapod Mini Flexible Tripod.

This is very exciting! I love, love, love my Gorillapod. I even use the SLR "pro" Gorillapod with my heavy camera and good lenses. It works perfectly. I'll have to get one of these torches.

Thanks for the comments! This flashlight really can be used by everyone, just about everywhere. Personally I keep three of these on hand - one in the car for emergencies, one on the fridge for power outages/late night snack raids/nighttime dog walks - and my daughter loves her very special bedpost 'reading light'!

Very cool idea! Its little tweaks like a wrap around stand that turns an ordinary item into extraordinary!

Aharon - agreed! Take a problem "I need a light that holds itself" add innovation and you get a great product. Thanks for stopping by.

I'm interested in the Gorillatorch but would like info about batteries and LED bulb it uses - are replacements easy to find? How expensive?

@Janet - It takes 3 AA batteries which are included. I don't have quick information about replacements bulb but will inquire and add it to this post. Thanks!

@Janet - No one should ever need a replacement bulb for the Gorillatorch. CREE LEDs have a life longer than our lives! There is no way to open the torch and change the bulb. The only way the bulb should ever fail is if someone were to drop the torch from ridiculously high heights. We do drop testing to 30ft, and there should be no breakage at that level.
If anything were to happen to the torch within a year of purchase (i.e. the bulb were to fail), we’d be happy to replace the unit.

I received this for Christmas and have already put it to good use. It is PERFECT for when you need to work under the hood of the car, like refilling windshield washer fluid. The light magnets in the light attach to the underside of the hood, and you can then twist the light to shine exactly where the light is needed. Brilliant.
