I tried out this product earlier this month with my kids and we all loved it. The material appeared to me to be the same stuff used for vehicle tow ropes (so it is plenty strong) and the ratchet system is substantial and allowed for a quick set up....

I’ve never been that in touch with my inner circus performer. Until now.
I have the Gibbon Slackline to thank.
The Slackline is a new-age, bouncy tightrope, constructed of nylon fabric that’s roughly the width and texture of a seat belt. The sport, which is sometimes called “jiblining,” was invented by rock climbers who would practice their balance by walking parking lot chains or ropes between climbs. Eventually, the climbers settled on webbing as safer and easier to walk. The Gibbon Slackline kit we’re featuring includes webbing and anchors — everything you need to quickly “get online.” Because the Slackline is flat and two inches wide, your feet don’t roll off it like they would on a tightrope. First-timers should plan on falling off a few times, but set the Slackline up near the ground and a few falls won’t be painful – except to your ego. Your skills will improve quickly, but slacklining is surprisingly addictive.
Bottom line? The Gibbon Slackline could be just the thing to lure you and your kids away from those computers and TVs, and outside into the backyard for some exercise. And that’s sure to bring some bounce to your outdoor routine.
