Sometimes one good Grommet begets another. You might remember Claudia Schwartz’s little shop of wonders Bell’occhio, from a prior installment here about her caramels. Well, when Jules headed to San Francisco to scout out that Grommet, Claudia also introduced her to these fabulous Fringe Benefits scissors.

Although I think they’re probably worth having around purely as a conversation piece (just look at them!), they’ll easily earn their keep in a variety of ways. Use them to easily fringe just about anything, from clothing to gift wrap, not to mention that they make that to-be-shredded tower of paper a thing of the past—who wouldn’t want to grab these up and shred that bill right away?
