Talk about this Grommet
Stylish comfort
Hi everyone! We're so excited to tell you about Psi Bands (pronounced "Sigh Bands", as in "Breathe a sigh of relief!") with the help of Daily Grommet today. Psi Bands are FDA-cleared acupressure wrist bands for the relief of nausea due to morning sickness, motion sickness/travel, chemotherapy and anesthesia. Unlike any product on the market, Psi Bands are fully adjustable both around the wrist and at the acupressure point, to best fit the user. Psi Bands are drug-free, comfortable, fashionable, waterproof, reusable and affordable! If you suffer from nausea, give Psi Bands a try. We invented them after dealing with months of ongoing morning sickness during our pregnancies. We know what it's like to suffer from on-going nausea, and were inspired to create a more functional and a more fashionable way to find relief. We'd love to help you. We'll be checking in to read your comments and answer your questions. Thanks!

There is something oddly spiritual or cosmic about how Grommets come into our lives, once in a while. This is one of those cases. Joanne mentions near the end of the video that my mom has been trying the Psi Bands. I fiercely wish my mom did not have any need for them--it's due to chemotherapy treatment. When Joanne first told me she was looking at this product, my mom had not been diagnosed. They really do work well for my mom--she has not had any nausea with the Psi Bands helping her out. I am so grateful for that.

I wish this product had been invented when I was pregnant. Love what Romy and Carla have created. I know they have helped many pregnant women get through morning sickness!
Jules,
We are so sorry to hear your mom has cancer, and wish her a full recovery. Our thoughts are with you and yours! We are so pleased to know that the Psi Bands bring her the relief that she so deserves.

These are great! I used something simular (but UGLY) when I was pregnant and on a very bumpy ship! Wish I had these cute ones! Great gift for a pregnant or sick friend!

I wish I knew about these a little while ago when a friend of mine was pregnant. She suffered from terrible nausea and morning sickness. This would have made the perfect gift for her!
Interesting product.
So, do you need to wear it all the time or just when you feel nauseous? On other words, is it preventative or corrective? Also wondering when the best time to wear it if you are undergoing chemo treatments?

Jules, I'm so so sorry to hear about your Mom's cancer diagnosis. It's wonderful and as you said, cosmic, that you were able to give her something to help her through this. I will definitely remember these for when people close to me are suffering from nausea.

Psi Bands are worn on an "as needed" basis at the first sign of nausea. They may also be worn up to 5 minutes before traveling or surgery.

@Romy and Katherine, Thanks for the kind words. We had a great report this week that my mom is responding extremely well to the chemo, so we are encouraged. But she has a lot more road to travel, and the Psi bands are a good aid for her journey.
@Andreea...I agree....I had terrible morning sickness too--every pregnancy. This would have really been welcome in my green-at-the-gills life back then.

Can children use the Psi Band? My 3-1/2 year old daughter gets motion sickness.

I wish your product was available when I was pregnant. I love the designs and the fact that they work without medication. I will definitely spread the word.
My kids and I suffer from car sickness so much that my nephew won't ride in the car with us... until now.
We discovered Psi Bands and we don't leave home without it. My daughter (age 6) actually requests her "bracelets" before we head off to the mountains. Love it!

@Heidi, that's a great question. For now, Psi Bands are FDA-cleared for use only on adults. Psi Bands has no clinical studies denying or supporting the use of wrist acupressure on children, though some of their customers have shared that they have had positive responses to using it for that purpose. For more information on using wrist acupressure on children you should contact your pediatrician.

I love Psi Bands not only for how wonderful the product is, but also for the philanthropic work that they do.
Thank you, Angela! Psi Bands donates $1 of every Cherry Blossom Psi Bands set sold to Fertile Hope. Fertile Hope provides reproductive information, support, and hope to cancer patients and survivors whose medical treatments present the risk of infertility.
Psi Bands and Fertile Hope are working together toward a common goal – improving the lives of both cancer patients undergoing treatment as well as those whose parenting dreams are coming true.

Wish the Psi Bands were around when I was pregnant...many moons ago! Great pregnancy gift!

Any peer-reviewed research to back the claims behind this product up? If so, how about posting them publically? Seems a very implausible treatment that cannot be "proven" merely by the repition of anecdotes.

I've also been meaning to add my own anecdotal experience. I have always gotten sick while reading in the car. I tried these on for a 3 and a half hour trip and I read the entire way without getting nauseous! My next test will be on those twirly rides at the fair!

I'm essentially in a constant state of nausea due to what my neurologists tells me is vertigo. Even though I don't experience that whole Hitchcock, spiraling out of control thing. I feel wretched. Will this bracelet work for someone like me?

@Lisa, that sounds like a horrible condition to have to endure, I am so sorry. I have forwarded your question on to get an answer for you.

@Lisa,
We are so sorry to hear about your constant nausea. How debilitating that must be! Psi Bands are an FDA-cleared medical device for the relief of nausea due to morning sickness, motion sickness, anesthesia, and chemotherapy. We do not have clinical studies that support or deny the effectiveness of wrist acupressure for the relief of vertigo. We wish you well!
