I can not imagine how ANY family can get by without a system like this..... something that let's everyone write notes, make changes, keep everyone up to date, announce who's coming to dinner, wish happy birthday, etc.!
I love the fact that it's magnetic. I've got one of those refrigerators with wooden panels, so I never have a place to hang those little treasures my kids create. Perfect for the kitchen!

Wow! this looks like a great product. and i wish i had thought of it!!!
Just wondering how durable the clock is, especially the handles. If you're writing on the board, it would be easy to bump into the clock handles. Particularly if my kids got involved! thank you.

I love this, and my children would love to make the numbers, draw certain pictures for different activities through the day. Very stylish!

Hi Liz. I'm glad you like the design and in answer to your question about the hands....they are exposed, but are more durable than they might look. Although small hands can bump them, they are made from aluminium and can easily be bent back into shape should they take a heavy bump. Hope this helps...

Dan: Is there an eraser for this, or do you use a damp cloth? Sometimes black boards can start to look smudge-y after awhile - I'm thinking this would be perfect in my kitchen, so I'd appreciate any tips for keeping it looking good.

Hi Ann, The Time Square is made from steel with a durable black board paint finish. Although chalk will gradually fade the surface, a good clean with soapy water should bring it up looking like new. I know I have had one in my kitchen now for a few years and I think it looks better through regular use. I have to admit that I don't clean it properly as often as I should, but it now almost resembles the old slate black boards of times gone by....which I prefer to the modern sterile white boards.
