My husband, Todd, and I started Wordlock, Inc. because no one in our family could remember the numerical combinations of our bike locks and padlocks. Since words are so much easier to remember than numbers, we thought it would be great to replace th...

Wordlocks are the best. I have thrown away all my old locks and will never look back.
Now I only wish someone would tell me how I can get my old lock (with missing key) off my bike.
So, happy about this product!...
With all the passwords I have to remember...I'm not even sure I could remember a word password! To the person who hacks my computer, yes I have a Word document called "passwords". I still wake up at night having had the dream that I forgot my locker...
I bought the padlock for myself and the bikelock for my daughter. We both love it!...
I love this idea.... so easy --...
Weather-resistant, heavy duty braided cable lock; 4 dials with letters to create your own combination using words not
numbers. Includes mounting bracket.
Word Perfect
Not everyone is good with numbers, so why has every combination lock up ‘til now used them? Many kids (and most adults) have suffered from the dreaded “combo amnesia” from time to time, which is especially stressful when there are bikes to be secured and lockers that need opening. Wordlock founders Todd and Rahn Basche went looking for a letter-based padlock for their own number-challenged family and couldn’t find one. And that’s how this memorable security solution was born. Instead of a meaningless chain of numbers, you need remember only one four-letter word. (Okay, maybe not that four-letter word! It could be as simple as “snap” or as easy as “abcd.”)
Each Wordlock provides 10,000 possible letter combination’s, so surely one will appeal to even the youngest of users. The heavy-duty braided steel cable lock comes with a mounting bracket, and is five feet long and vinyl-coated—perfect for securing a bike anywhere, and it won’t scratch the paint, either.
Choose your color, choose your word, and then leave the stress behind. Wordlock may be the first combination lock you never forget.
